Hi!!!!!!
This post I’m posting is very very useful post for people want to play ps2 online. I know that there r many posts on internet for playing ps2 games online, but they all don’t explain all procedure. I mean that there r many errors and settings that r explained in different posts on different sites that r very difficult to find. So i am posting this post that contains all information.
First the things u need:
- A ps2 console
- online playable games
- Internet connection with a router or modem with Ethernet cable.
- A memory card
First open ports for ps2 on ur pc. Basic ports are:-
Basic PS2 Ports
TCP: 53
TCP: 80
TCP: 443
As well as allowing ICMP
If u don’t know how to open ports, follow portforwarding.com. Also stop Ur firewall.
Now first plug the internet cable in to ur ps2. Then restart Ur modem two times. After restarting, start the game. If u have network access disc, play it or if not, don’t worry. It is contained in games usually when u clicks online option like Mortal Kombat Armageddon. Now start it.
- Click Add setting
- Then select ur memory card
- Then click on SCE Ethernet(network adapter)
- Then click not required
- Then Click AUTO
- Then Click AUTO again
- Then click ok and it will test ur connection
- Then name ur connection
- Then Save it
Now start ur game, click online and login or signup and enjoy! But this post is not finished yet. What about backup games?
Note when starting game online, it will check for DNAS. Every game after 2003, when tried to play online, Sony checked every game for DNAS that it is original or not. So when u try to play with backups, Ur game will not pass DNAS checking and hence u can’t play. So what, i have solution for u. First download some necessary software’s.
DVD Decrypter - Media fire Link
After downloading, insert Ur game in to pc and make its image using DVD decrypter. Now listen carefully, now u will patch Ur game image and make it like original so that it can pass DNAS test. First open DNAS list which u downloaded. Find ur game’s code. It will look like for example for MK Armageddon it will look like:
XX XX 01 30 DC. Here XX XX can be anything between A-Z and 1-9. Now open win dip, select image file and click scan file and then click verify. After verifying, there will 5 blank boxes. Fill it with Ur game code which u has seen in DNAS list for example for MK Armageddon Type XX XX 01 30 DC. Replace XX XX with A-Z or 1-9 like A4 FD 01 30 DC.
Then click patch and then ok. Now it is patched. Burn Ur patched game to new blank DVD. Now play it and u will able to pass DNAS test and play online.
